Dr Thomas Lamont, of the Lamont Dental Clinic, graduated in 1982 from Glasgow University and Dental school.
He has been Principal Dentist since 1987 and Tom passed his membership exams for the Faculty of General Practice in 1998. He was the second dentist in Scotland to be awarded the diploma in Dental Implantology by the Royal College of Surgeons, London.
Since graduation Tom has attended postgraduate courses in Scotland, England Germany and Switzerland, in order to keep up to date with new techniques and developments. He has also trained with leading cosmetic dentists from the US, being one of the first dentists to offer smile design in Scotland.
The Lamont Clinic was one of the first practices in Scotland to purchase the Zoom tooth whitening system and Tom has been trained by some of the Leading tooth whitening experts.
Tom teaches at Glasgow Dental Hospital in the Periodontal, Restorative and Prosthodontic student teaching clinics.
He is the cosmetic dentist in Glasgow for Transform, the UK's largest cosmetic surgery provider.

Mrs Devlin graduated from the University of Glasgow in 1993 (BDS) where she had the rare distinction of managing to publish in the peer reviewed dental literature as an undergraduate.
She then chose to follow a career in General Dental Practice working in Edinburgh and Barrhead before joining The Lamont Clinic in 1998.
She has developed a strong patient base for whom she provides a comprehensive family dental service.
She is dedicated to getting her patients dentally fit and providing motivation for them to maintain their oral health.
Carol is committed to providing her patients with the highest standards of dental care using the latest technology and materials available and for this reason continues an ongoing program of professional development.
She has a special interest in preventative treatment, tooth whitening and metal free restorations including tooth coloured fillings, porcelain inlays and veneers.
